Why did you start your bussiness?
After working for a painting company in Tampa, FL for almost two years, I decided to leave in March 2020. When COVID hit, my boss started showing up to job sites extremely stressed and often yelling at everyone. It created a toxic environment, so I chose to walk away. I returned home without any job prospects—no one was hiring at the time.
With two kids and a wife to support, I knew I had to do something. That’s when I decided to start my own painting business. At first, I wasn’t even officially registered—I just went out offering handyman and painting services wherever I could. Construction never really stopped during the pandemic, so I took every opportunity to provide for my family."
What does your bussines do?
Now, after five years in the market and based in Boca Raton, FL, we proudly offer our customers a wide range of services, including:

What sets you apart from other businesses in your industry?
What sets me and my company apart is the personal care I bring to every job. I say “me” because I own and operate the business myself. I treat every project as if it were being done in my own home. I’m always present at the job site and make sure we deliver exactly what we promise.
In an industry where quality and after-sales service are often overlooked, I focus on building trust and long-term relationships with my clients. That’s what truly makes the difference.
What problem is your company facing right now, and how are you working to solve it?
Right now, the biggest challenge is winning new customers and staying competitive in a market full of unfair competition. Some companies don’t have insurance, don’t hire qualified workers, and use low-quality materials to offer lower prices.
We’re tackling this by consistently showing the value of professional service—highlighting our quality, reliability, and the peace of mind that comes with hiring a licensed and insured contractor. Little by little, we’re building a reputation that speaks for itself.

How was it to start a business from scratch, and what has been your biggest challenge as a founder so far?
Starting a business is no small feat, and I can honestly say it would have been much harder without my son and co-founder by my side. His unwavering support, creativity, and commitment have truly made this journey smoother and more enjoyable. The most significant challenge I've faced so far was saying goodbye when he moved to Spain for college after taking a gap year to work with me. I want to take a moment to thank my son for everything he has contributed and for being such an integral part of venture. While I miss him dearly, I am excited to see him chase his dreams, knowing that our bond and shared experiences will continue to inspire our work together.
